Mag portal on a pc/tablet

maybe a stupid question but I'll ask it anyway. Is there any way to watch the portal supplied for mag box on a pc or tablet? I'm thinking an app or some software that would allow you to test the portal on a device other than your actual mag box?

You can install stb emulator on to an android device, which mimicks a mag box...

If you currently have a sub, not sure if you will be able to use this on there. I think you can change the MAC address to be the same as you MAG address maybe and it might work. But not sure...
