A full can of beer thrown at the tv pundits and a flare lit inside the stadium - interesting that they waited till the game was postponed to divulge this.

Manchester's shame indeed, ugly scenes being beamed around the world and one of the highest profile matches in English football disrupted to the point of postponement.

Disgusting what happened and not right at all.

There is a right to protest for anyone but not the way these so called fans went about it.

Owners of the clubs of the big 6 have in affect brought this on with the ESL nonsense.

When the inquiry takes place you'll probably find that the fans were allowed in to invade the pitch.
In other words, MUFC employees allowed/orchestrated this.
When was last time anyone successfully broke into a sport stadium?

Weird how fans walked straight into old Trafford and no security nowhere insight it was a fix they knew they was gunna loose and title go to city!!!!

they could not have been more sucessful

they managed to get the aboslute money game called off.

every broadcaster with rights will have been building this game, camera and reporters everywhere and they stop it dead.

the US coverage would have been especially good for them, the yanks were reporting on it like it was a war zone - imagine if they were around when millwall and leeds used to tear it up haha.

ultimately though even though the protest could not have gone better, how the hell do they think it will be successful? who is going to buy united? gnev and giggs? they can't even get team into league 1.

it will be an investor looking to make bank or sportswash the grubby pr that goes with eg chopping the arms and legs off journalists in an embassy.

support a big six club and unfortunately, you do not matter - you support a mega corp that makes millionaires of the players you sing for

the fans managed to matter today, but long term they aren't needed.

Some were saying tomorrow but with how jam packed the schedule is gona be difficult to rearrange.

In some ways tomorrow would work - bank holiday, hastily arranged so might not give time to arrange another protest, fits in best with the busy schedule.

Not sure the tv companies around the world would like having such a big game played without being able to advertise it properly though.

Catch 22 situation mate.

They have to make a decision before we see a repeat of event and tomorrow would be perfect.

Other than that no idea where the game can be fitted in.

I have no doubts we will see more protests but the sub standard security we saw today you wouldnt expect that to happen again.

They will easily re arrange it there is slots within the remaining fixtures to play it unless both teams spit their dummies out and say not enough training time

Its not just as simple as re arranging the game on any given day.

PL also has to commitments to domestic and international broadcasters especially with advertising the the rearranged game.

Game will be played its just when its suitable for both clubs and all parties concerned.
