Hi all. Anyone out there got a fairly idiot proof guide on how to set up my line with mgcamd? I have my nline in cccam and was trying to watch tv earlier but the glitching was unbearable. Anyway, I got out my old Skybox f5s and through mgcamd the line was flawless so I know it's not my provider? Can someone help me or else I'll have to go back to the skybox full time!
 
why do people insist on using nlines with cccam lol,if you were on vix image and download plugins worked download plugins when done softcams 1.35a ok let it load and box reboot.
then use filezilla to send 2 files over to VAR/ETC files needed are newcamd list and mg cfg when sent there you can edit newcamd list and add the line details and save and exit.

Is it the newcamd list or mg cfg file that needs edited. I thought it was the newcamd list? Hoping I haven't set mine up wrong lol

Cheers, have followed this guide and got it running on Mgcamd. Should I leave the CCcam details on the box or will having both on it cause any problems? Is it possible to leave them both running at the same time?
 
As long as you only have the mgcamd switched on and the cccam switched off the cccam details won't cause a problem. running both at the same time will.
 
If the CCcam file and cccam plugin are installed mgcamd will not autostart and function properly. Mike123 link above works perfectly but it has to be followed perfectly.

Cheers, so I should delete the Cccam file and uninstall the Cccam plugin? even if I don't have it running?
