Possibly that splitter in the brown box is knackered - do away with it altogether using the connector as pictured above and also check / re-make your cable ends.

You wouldn't really notice as much on the internet. The RX Power on channel 8 is 34.6 - when it gets below 35db is when you'll notice it affecting the picture.

Cheers. Will post back when I've got one of those thru connectors. Never made the ends off on this cable before, will look into that too then post back.
