Hi guys and Girls,
A pal of mine wants to get a H2S, but only has a wifi dongle from Meteor ( I suppose they are the same as UK models)
Has anyone used one of these Mobile broadband dongles with the H2s? I know there are several caravanners who bring their boxes with them.
Maybe someone has a simple solution for me. It is devices like this one >> https://store.meteor.ie/mobile-broadband-devices/bill-pay/huawei-e3372-stick , Not specifically that one, but it is a huawei dongle.

I am using Wooshbuild V5, I never had this problem with VIX lol ( I never had this request from anyone either)

Cheers,

Wheelo

I've used mobile broadband with a Vonet bridge and had no problems. See if they can upgrade to a Huawei hot spot and use the following wifi bridge.

I've set mobile phones as wifi hotspots using the 3G/4G and connected to them. No problems with it at all. I'd imagine the wifi dongle will act much the same.

My brother in law got a mifi with an Ethernet port to be able to connect to the box via cable instead of wifi while his ADSL service was out of action & he said it was quite jumpy & freezing alot. That was via voda 3g.

Would love to know the answer to this one as have my uncle looking to know if he can bring his H2S down the country where he doesn't have internet but could bring a monthly contract wifi dongle.

I use meteor mobile bb for mine with one of these, in a 4g area with 40mb down speeds

I set a box up for someone who was using a MIFI with an ethernet connection, I think it was on 3 and I've not heard anything from him about the quality however I did warn him it may not be perfect depending on the quality of the 3 signal.

I was using a mifi and was pure muck to be honest, bought a huawei b683 3g router from flea bay and improved things considerably, that was when only had 3g e available, for all de fellow Irish, meteor have a "student" deal, 50gb per month for €20 and 4g router for €79.99, sign up online and they don't ask for student card
