These are known as 'heartbreakers'
Offers that usually don't exist or if they do, they're limited to first six customers, often used to harvest email addresses as now they know what your interests are and they can target you with relevant offers.
In short, it's a publicity stunt

It originated from HotUKDeals?
This isn't uncommon.
As an aside, Lidl sell a 10,000mah power bank occasionally, around £10-£12 ish.
I have one and it's very good quality and performance
Does it have the wireless charging feature ?

Or just a pricing error when the discount should have taken off 15% instead of £15.........

Definitely an error - they have codes for 30%, 20% and this should have been 15% as you say. Harvesting email addresses isn't as useful as it used to be since you can unsubscribe from their mailing list using a link at the bottom of the email.

This is a good quality power bank - usb c input and output, wireless charging, fast charge. I doubt there'll be anything comparable in the price range, hence it getting so much heat on hukd.

I asked my butcher for a kilo of sirloin and he said it was fifteen quid.
I told him the butcher over the road had it for £8 a kilo but he's got none in.
He replied, " when I've got none in, mine's only two quid"
