Mozilla Firefox update will differ from Google Chrome

It has been reported that Mozilla are planning a major update to their Firefox browser, in which they will focus specifically on the appearance and interface aspects of the browser.

As reported from Computer World, the updates will affect Windows Vista and Windows 7 and are expected to come in two parts - both of which will be available next year.

Ever since Mozilla released some preview screenshots of how the update will look, consumers have been comparing it to how Google’s Chrome browser currently looks, but Mozilla were keen to stress that the two will be significantly different.

“We are not trying to make Firefox look like any other browser,” was their response to the criticism. What are your thoughts on this? Do you like the new look Firefox?
