Does anyone know any good password crackers for a file within MS Word that is password protected. My mate has had a coulpe of programs running for a few days now but without any joy.
If it's "Protection" password protected you can use Word itself to remove it by opening the document in HTML (Microsoft Script Editor) view & doing a "Find", locate the password line & remove the whole line.
I forgot to mention,
If you are using Microsoft Office XP or Microsoft Office 2003, you can change the view to HTML-Code using Microsoft Script Editor by pressing the Alt+Shift+F11 keys. (you may need to install the feature from ISO or Disc if prompted).
However,
If the document is "Open" pass-worded & you don't have the time to wait for conventional methods you will need something like this.
