Multiple IPTV Connections for Friends - Any Price Advantage?

Is it common for people to buy multiple connections if they want to share IPTV access with close friends or family? For example, instead of having just one single connection, getting 3–4 connections under the same subscription?

I understand that it probably depends on the seller and what they are willing to offer. But generally speaking, if I requested 4 or more separate connections from one seller, would the average seller be willing to give some kind of discount since they would get multiple subscriptions through me?

Thanks for all help!

Best to speak to and negotiate with the provider once you've got over the hurdle of sourcing a suitable provider. It will come down to the provider and their margins.

From my understanding, most providers will not allow you to share access and usually 'restricted' to the one IP address/user.

What if I wanted to pay for separate connections for my friends? I don’t mean sharing one account. I mean each person having their own individual subscription, just paid by me.

You would need to discuss/negotiate that with your chosen provider.

You would be able to pay for your friends but they would need an email address for the provider?

AFAIK for the sellers of services that allow multiple connections you can share it with F&F and they will not lock geographically / ISPs unless they are kinda mean….. Note that most of the largest public services are all single connection services.

So all the providers I have been with extra connections should be like multi room and not shared with friends.
Ones I know allow multiple connections for at home and working away at same time.
Down to quality of provider.

Extra connections are mostly used like multiroom, some providers stipulate they must all run on the same IP address.
Another subscription is usually what's required for a friend /separate household
You should get a discount for multiple
Provider dependant of course. Read their rules/ask

yes of course they will allow working away from home that's nothing new. but most wont let you buy four connections for separate houses. you would need to buy separate accounts.

Nope permanent use at different ip.
Facts are facts, im not assuming.

I have a really good provider from here and he provides quite a few Family & Friends all on their own sub so there's no problems. They pay the sub or don't, its up to them. They're treated as individual subs with a discount for multi devices. Don't make life too complicated.👍

i've had several subs for friends and family off the same supplier, i've never had any discount and never been offered any, neither do i expect any, he's ok with his comms and the service is good, i mean if you bought 10 firesticks off amazon, would you expect an 11th free?

Exactly its called multiroom for a reason and discount normally given because tied to that ip address not multi houshold.

I can only post on my experience as a buyer not a seller.
Different sellers will offer different deals and they may be dependant on how long they've been customers.

One of my providers offers a small discount for 2 connections( mutiroom under same zip) . He also will sell 2xconn’s using the same log in details for different IP addresses. But price is same as buying 2 separate conn’s.

Yes some may offer different but we are discussing what is general multiroom limitations hence discount.
