My new car can't do a proper hand brake turn. Must have been designed by a woman WTF?

I bought a new car and it's a proper lads job 244 b.h.p paddle gear shift like Lewis Hamilton, rear wheel drive sports mode, everything. I dropped the wife off outside Dunelm last Sunday at 10a.m and they have an overflow car park that was empty. She doesn't like me doing hand brake turns with her in so this was a good moment to try one. I had a look round first and there was no one in it, went out then back in again at 30 m.p.h for my first try. Right hand at quarter to 3 whipped it round to half past and pushed the handbrake button.

Chaos, the car went onto two wheels alarms went off and I ended up parked next to a skip full of boxes. The handbrake won't operate above 19 mph FFS. Us lads pride ourselves on handbrake turns. How is it possible to do a proper handbrake turn with a 19 mph limit - can't even get a decent skid (n)

Must have been designed by a woman

I used to drink in a pub where the licensees son could do a proper one every time. He could pull up in the car park and spin his 1600 Escort round exactly 180 deg so it was facing exactly the way he had come. Man was I envious he had just the perfect amount of squealing and tyre burn every time. I used to think if he could make his car squeal like that what could he do with his girlfriend. :sneaky:

I've practised the h.b turn many times in the Dunelm overflow car park in my Mondeo and got it somewhere near. All those years of practise has now been wasted.
