Hi all,

Sorry, but I know this has been thrashed out, but I just can't get this to work so all help gratefully accepted please.

1. I have flashed box with image. Fine.
2. I have set my area and performed scan. Fine.
3. I have connected to box and navigated to /usrkeys. Fine
4. Two Files in there newcamd.list & mg_cfg. Fine
5. Edit newcamdlist so now it looks like this.
CWS_KEEPALIVE = 300 CWS_INCOMING_PORT = 21000
CWS = blah.dns.net 17218 user password 01 .....14

At this point it is no longer fine. All fta channels but no special channels.
Have re-booted, cold started, sworn, threatened but it must be that I am doing something wrong.

I know the line is fine.

Can anyone see what please?
 
Have you started the cam in settings? If using VIX try teh following, and make sure the cam is active and green tick
Menu
Setup
Softcam/CI
Softcam Manager

All is good there. i have restarted the cam and no difference.

My newcamdlist is not quite as displayed above. I have 3 lines in it i.e CWS_KEEPALIVE blah <carriage return> CWS_Incoming <carriage return> CWS N line info.

Should it be all one flowing line in the list file?
 
3 could be ok, if you want feel free to send me it in a pm and I'll take a quick look. Or if you have teamviewer installed I can check remotely

Aye, no problem. Make sure the letter 'N' is not in the file

Have you tried installing mgcamd 1.38 as the cam?

The only bit of text u were meant to change in the newcamd.list was the ***************.

You can replace the newcamd.list by downloading newcamd&cccam file in cloud dl section here.
Or replace both the mg_cfg and newcamd.list from somewhere else.
they work as a pair
