I want to use my sat box to stream channels to other computer on my network, the computers will be running kodi. I have seached but I am unable to find a clear answer to the following:-
Is it possilble to do?
will I have an epg and channel list?
can I change channels from the computers?
which would be best the star H2s or the star 2s ?

your zgemma comes with a bit of software called openwebif.

go in plugins and make sure its enabled.

you then just type your zgemmas ip address into your computers address bar.

to find your zgemmas ip address.
menu....information...network.


once your have opened up your openwebif on your computer you can view your bouquets, your can view the epg, you can take screenshots, you can use your comp and a big fat remote, and more importantly you can then view any stream you want.
Press the blue tv screen at far right of each channel in your bouquet list. Depending which browser you are using this will either download a stream file which you can open, or open up the stream in your relevant software.
It is recommended you download and use VLC player for viewing your streams on your computer.
I can't remember which browser does which, but if it downloads instead of playing automatically, just try a differnet browser.

Definitely. I've used both and the H2S is noticeably faster and smoother than the 2S.
