I am new to all this stuff and I am looking for some advice about which freeview/freesat box to get. I hope this is the right forum to post in.
Here are my criteria:
Able to work with both the dual line from the old sky dish and the normal freeview tv aerial. This is so I can move it if I need to
Good interface with snappy channel changing. Needs a good remote and be able to be setup in such a way that the whole family can use it easily.
Able to record to internal or external hdd
Able to run kodi and stream 1080p 265 files from my nas. 4k 265 would be a bonus for future proofing.
Able to share live and recorded tv to other kodi boxes and tablets on the local network. Seems like any enigma 2 box can do this.
I'm not into Iptv or streams so not too worried about this.
Would like to have Netflix, Amazon prime, etc on there but seems like this isn't really possible?
Obviously want to get a good deal but happy to buy premium if it ticks more boxes, particularly being easy to use for the whole family.
I think that most boxes can do these things so really just looking for recommendations and tips.
