Can I get some advice
I have a firestick in my bedroom but my vu solo 2 is a bit outdated now
I use the box for IPTV but feel to go down this route again maybe overkill for the use I am intending
Can I have recommendations for a new box I would like a record box but streams sometimes get frozen so prob not important
Have a 4k TV

Do a search on new box there are loads of recommendations

For me the Octagon SF8008 or the Ax61

Recording IPTV is always going to be hit and miss, find a provider with decent catchup

Some providers have football replays yours by the sound of it does not have that.

Ideally to record iptv you need a multi room connection which is 2 connections to 1 sub.
That way you can record football and watch strictly or celebrity master chef😆😆
