new m3u playlist from same supplier, works on vlc, but not on anything else

Hello Everyone, Hoping someone can help.

My knowledge of iptv is basic knowledge.

Have had iptv with only one supplier, since march. I have managed to run this on vlc on a desktop pc, as well as a few android devices with an app called gse, and finally on my zgemma h5.2tc using a plugin called E2M3U2Bouquet.

Just renewed my iptv for another month with same supplier, But he gave me a different m3u to the one ive had since march 2018. Now the new m3u, I can get this to work on vlc on the desktop pc, however it doesnt load the channels on the gse android app, and same issue on the zgemma plugin, when i choose 'run' it just freezes, and I have to reboot zgemma using white button at back.

Does anybody have any ideas please.

thanks. what difference does it make when the new m3u contains 'm3u_plus'?

old m3u just m3u, new m3u is m3u_plus

m3u_plus is just a normal m3u file but it has all the extra info like provider group names, epg tags, etc. When using an m3u link none of your settings are ever sent back to the provider, that functionality just isn't there. You could change the m3u_plus part to just m3u and see if that works. Failing that I would speak to your provider.
