New openbox

Hello I have recently purchased a openbox v8s I can't get any sky on it. Also how do I install a media player and any info on installing c lines and iptv would be good. Thank you

There is an Openbox idiots guide if you do a search. But can I ask, if you don't know about theses things, why did you buy a V8S?

I brought it as i have been told that they are good. I have a android box which I know a lot about now as I have had it for a few years now.

hi mark,every box has lost all channels so no c line or n line will get u any channels apart from free to air.i dont what suggest mate,there is a web tv option on some v8s boxes but i dont think they are anything to run after.

Not strictly true. Only SKY channels have gone. Still got BT Sports, eir Sport, Gold, Dave, etc on card share with C or N lines!

IPTV is available via webtv on an m3u file or, XtreamTV software which is quite new.

But, as the V8S was a basic entry level box when it came out about 3 years ago, it's limited in its capabilities.

Thanks how do I get the m3u I have tried a few sites but all I get is pop up after pop up

You need to get a test off a provider,I would use your android box for iptv,Openboxes are not great

Go into the IPTV forum and ask for a test for a V8S

just looked at the front of my box it says overbox v9s is there anything different i can do?

Just read the V9S threads on here and you'll be ok.
