New sly channels not working

am having an issue with my sub. I use a m3u list on mag 254 and got a new m3u file from sub with the new sly premier etc channlelsS

All ok for 24 hours and then black screen on all new sly sports channels

Sub did something and came back but then went off again after 24 hours

Also BT Sport 1 working badly for any premier league but ok for anything else it seems (e.g. Tennis)

1) Anyone else getting new sly channels ok
2) Anyone seen this issue with BT Sport 1


I am trying to resolve with sub but not having much luck

If you are using a Mag box, is there any reason why you can't use it "the normal" way, by giving your supplier your MAC address, and using a portal?

Is it just certain channels stopping after 24 hours, or is everything going?

If it's everything, I suggest that your supplier is giving you 24 hour tests, which if he's a reseller, cost him nothing.

Thanks Richie that's an interesting thought on the reseller point!!!!

Don't want to use portal as m3u option allows me to pause/record etc on the mag box which a portal seems not to unlesss someone wiser than me knows otherwise

There's a lot of stuff out there I want to record whilst I amount to watch later

Hi Honda Im a reseller for an IPTV service, the reseller or whoever you are dealing with would appear to have a shabby enough service, in my opinion. He should be able to give you a portal address also as richiej suggests and with this you can still record. The reason BT Sports could be stopping / freezing during football is thats its probably a poor/small server and more than likely overloaded and not able to handle the pressure when there is a high demand on any one channel ie during popular football matches etc.

I also use a Mag 254 and have no problems with any channels and there is a back up service for many of the Sports channels. I watched United v Madrid last night for instance and no glitching or freezing whatsoever.

I agree he is trying to fix the issues but I am running out of patience

Interestingly freezing on bt Sport is not during high demand seems to be intermittent and also on bts2 and 3

Be interested to know how you can record on Mag254 using portal as I couldn't find a way

From all I know its down to the server as regards recording, I just press the red button and select the usb device and it records away but its all down to the server. You need to be firm with your reseller and tell him the story.
