Guys dont forget to factory default your box after you update it and do a new scan, making sure you get the correct NET ID from your subbed vermin box, this is the only way to guarantee you have the correct one 100%, otherwise you will get missing channels, pixalating, glitching.

Make sure you do update your box to remain watching your channels, there is no info on what this does so no point asking.

Tried this now on 3 diffrent boxs and it just sits on requesting download. All on latest firmware before advised update all hardwired to router no WiFi bridges etc. Anyone else get this everytime there is an update. Am sure if I keep trying will strike lucky and it will go through but bloody annoying.

yes many have got it not updating others have updated,try now or in the morning,its not an urgent update but when it can be done it will maybe getting over whelmed they are.

i only had my box a day and they went off last night :(
trying to update it but just says searching new update been like that for ages now :(
can i download the update and flash it via pc? and will it get me back on

The old firmware (26/04/12 still works.
Reboot the box, check VM sub box is working, try a rescan if channels show no/bad signal

Somebody usually uploads the update file, but not usually this soon.

If it has stopped mid download then it might have messed up your existing firmware
This one should still work Kryptview_A780_ 29112011 (I am assuming you have got an A780)

Re flash the older firmware here
using your pc and rescan, it should come back on, I usually leave updating a few weeks cause everyone
rushes to do it in the first few days and thats when the system gets overloaded.

Updates don't usually mean the older version stops working
Only known that to happen once and a deadline date was posted so everyone new about it.

Yeah ive got 2 A780 both went off at the same time
i just rebooted and rescanned still nothing so im going to reflash one now
ive got no way of finding out if its vm or not but got good signal showing

You can always go on there website and check your area
for faults at their end, you will just need to put in a post code to check.

People do it all the time so wouldnt worry about putting in your postcode

How do i know if im connected to the server on the crapview i had before it used to say in info that you was connect or not

Doesn't tell you on this box it auto updates
when on standby, it should just come back on

did you power off box modem and router for 30 secs then on ? most people forget the basic fix of getting box reconnected to internet.

Yeah was the 1st thing i did and tried a few times its still off tried a reflash as well just comes up scrambled or no video :(

just tested my box round a friends it never worked there too as his vm is working ok so it must be a fw or Serv** problem

has there been any clone boxes? im worried ive been sold clones :(

It seems the update server is down at the minute, mine has gone down too and have been advised to just keep checking the update tool :/

what s/w version you on pc4.1.01?

april firmware is still working for others but the 2011 is not maybe switched off?recheck your net id has not changed as vm box work but kv not
Settings__Tech Stuff_Net ID on your main box,might be as simple as areset/rescan on correct net id.
