Hi just got a icecrypt stc 1650 box installed.was told it would last a yr then pay £60 to be put back on ...can anyone tell me how that is done please so I can do it myself .....currently got full sky package via Ethernet cable to modem.....thanks.....
 
You contact the provider who told you it's only £60 and they should give you the details to pay and add the extra time on to your current line you have installed so really you don't need to do anything.
 
Ok I'd like to know how it's done ,what if this guys not around when it goes off then I'm stuffed...:beg:
 
you can do it yourself, find the "Anyone recommend a server" thread in the general satellite section, post that you are looking for a server, people will reply and offer you trials (generally 24 hours) choose one, then put the details onto your box.

no point in doing this now as you should wait until you are about to expire. average prices are anywhere from £50-£100 per year.
