Newbie itching to get started

I've gone from the DBOX to the A780 and now on to the H.2H.

Always a bit tricky starting off on the new journey but I've already found some great information on here.

If anyone can point me towards a bulleted list of the steps that would be great otherwise I will plod along.

I've flashed the image ATV 5.1 so just need to get cams on and find out what the mysterious "line" is lol.

Not finding any channels as yet but only a matter of time.

Any tips would be helpful

Maybe a daft question but do I have to be able to ftp my box?

Using F-zilla and it's not having it at all! Is there a password on these things or is it just IP and "root" - Do I need a port number?

Or can I do it all through the plug ins?
 
Right, I've re-flashed for the full image of VIX.

I can now ftp.

All I need to know is how to get my line and I'll be up and running?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

All looks like it's nearly up and running, just struggling with the line bit?

You need to go onto eBay and buy a gift and they normally give you a file you ftp into your box
