Newcam file on USB

Hi.
I bought a line from a seller and it came as a newcamd.list file.
I put it on a usb but the cam import tool on Woosh build is giving me the following error:

there are no cam files on any usb.

Please copy either newcam list,CCcam.cfg or oscam server with your line details to a usb stick.

Where am I going wrong.

He also gave it to me in another format like this.

N:xxxxxxx 11111xxxxxx 1234356789

What am I doing wrong?Thanks.

did you format the usb before adding and the newcamd.list file?

and the file is in notepad file saved as all files and not text file, if unsure you can create a notepad file and name it newcamd.list saved as all files with your connection copied and paste into your file

inside it should begin CWS = line

what computer do you have? I know a couple of mac users that have had the same problem you have, when they then asked someone on a windows computer to copy it to USB stick it worked. I don't use a Mac so don't know why they had an issue though

Some sticks can be a pain in the arse, you got another you can try to at least rule that out? But to be honest, i also have had issues using the Wooshbuild cam importer,

Maybe try a reboot and run the plugin again?

Is the file saved as a text file? as I think this can cause issues. If you save that notepad file as all files on your desktop then put it back on the usb I think this may work

You could always FTP the file using Filezilla . I believe the files go into KEYS folder that is in the USR folder. i ended up having to do that for the N line i am using.

i notice you have called your file newcamd.list. a couple of times, you're not leaving a dot on the end are you? should just be newcamd.list

Glad to see you got it sorted Osis! Me and a mate had trouble doing it not so long ago but I just unplugged the USB and put it back in and it worked fine!
