However, it is cheaper without the need for a code using VPN (connected to Ireland) via Sky IE and available for upto 12 months? (I've not tried and tested this but I'm sure I recall seeing this on HUKD.)

Go for it, some people cant be bothered with worrying about their service being geo-blocked by now TV not to mention finding a payment method they will accept

The thing being offered is £20 for six months according to OP
£20 each month for 6 months reduced from £34 so a £14 discount if it was £20 in total I would be asking for more than £5 for it, I've edited the thread to avoid further confusion

Do you need to connect to a vpn when watching too, or just for signing up?
The €27 per month offer including TNT and Premier Sports is great value for money.
