I had to reset my nvida shield as it had slowed down a lot and since I have my apps like stan and peacock are not like they used to, i get a lag on stan and on peacock even when using the same version before the reset. does anyone know the best version to use. my nvida shield is the 2017 one thanks
 
With my NVIDIA Shield 2017, I noticed a weird behavior. A while ago, I noticed that every time I cold-booted the device, it took several minutes to become responsive, even though the main screen had already fully loaded. After I completely reset the device to factory settings, it seemed to boot up faster when powered on. But now, after a while, the same problem seems to be happening again.

I will definitely open it up and repaste the CPU, but to me, it doesn’t sound like an overheating problem.
