nvidia shield buffering

Hi, my nvidia shield is constantly buffering when using plex and even my iptv whilst a firestick works fine. I have it plugged in to lan, updated firmware etc. Not sure what the problem could be that a firestick works fine while the shields does not. Any help?

Check you're not still logged in on the firestick of it's the same sub.

Clear device cache in the settings.
 
have you run a speedtest, checked the wifi is ok, or checked/swapped the ethernet cable? i once had a problem and found i'd turned off ethernet so wifi was causing issues with hi bitrate stuff. more recently had a few issues and i swapped the ethernet cable and it turned out to be that. with kodi when i have issues, clearing the cache usually does it, although it's usually just the firestick on wifi where i get those problems
