Nvidia shield wont connect to mobile hotspot

Well just thought i would try this for when i go to my caravan at the weekend and i just cant get it to connect.
Ive removed ethernet and scanned for mobile network which it finds but it refuses to connect.
Any other shield users on here got any pointers i'm all ears.

There is an option in settings menu you can deselect which allows the nvidia to connect to weaker wifi signals. I had to do this when trying to connect to a hotel wifi.

Is it the option that says
Allow low power channels
Allow wifi connection on low power channels to use wps ????

Right sorted it i think lol also had to add the mac address in my phone of the shield because it wasnt in my list of allowed devices

It was deffo about using low powered channels... After I changed it the internet worked at treat.
