Old minidish must be 12 plus years old now will it pick up hd signal???

Hello all. I am about to buy for my Father a blade media. He has a minidish already fitted, It must have been one of the first ever minidishes sky fitted and is in excess of 12 years old now! I am wondering since this was prior to HD signals will we need to update the dish?

If it still gets Sky signals , it should have no problem , If it hasn't been used for a while ,the only thing to do is connect a box to it and check. Lnb,s and dishes haven't changed , They are all capable of receiving HD , only the boxes have changed.
