hi my openbox stuck on load i try to upgrade box with s232 null cable with stb eprom upgrade tool when i connet box to it show error raw file not found

make a folder on your desktop and download the attached file and unzip to the new folder. Then go here and download the latest firmware (first one on page I think) and put in the same folder you have just created.
Now, open the newly unzipped EromUpgrade tool. Make sure all com settings are the same as your rs232 settings on your computer, best results with COM PORT between 1 and 4, BITRATE 115200, PARITY Even, OPERATION MODE Upgrade, FILE Select the new firmware you have downloaded, click the box to add a tick to INCLUDE BOOTLOADER.
Now heres the bit that normally confuses people. Make sure your box is unplugged from the power, but make sure it is connected to your rs232, when you have setup the above parameters, click next and it should say reset your box, NOW plug the power into the back of the box slowly and it should say DONE on your screen and the process should start, it takes about 15 minutes in total. good luck

I have the same issue, I tried to update the box with a new channel list from AJsat and now my box is stuck on load. I have not got any experience in upgrading the box so any help would be appreciated. can anyone post a link to a guide and also confirm the type of cable needed to complete the upgrade. I have a v8s box.

I've tried tools from the skybox website and they don't seem to work so hopefully this will.
