Openbox v8s TV guide/channel listing epg help

Hello all is there a way to change epg to something a little more user friendly?

Also how do I change the channel numbers to be same as sky's?

Thanks for your reply and I knew someone would say that, the stickie posts with the sky list on seem to be from years ago which I doubt work now.

Channel lists are upto date---Use CWaites if you want in same numbers as sky------or use the network server in network upgrade on your box.
You can use either xmltv or satellite settings for epg and plenty of info around.
A little bit of research and light reading will give you all you require.

Thanks reaper, sorted the xml tv guide now its working a treat, better than the standard sattellite one anyway its very slow.

only thing is some channels such as the +1 channels arent working, any ideas?

struggling to find the up to date CWAITES channel list though unless the 1/10/15 version bycdub74 is it? ill install it and see anyway.

There's a new 'upgrade by network' channel list added today. It's changed from AJs to CWaites, so that'll give you your Sky channel numbers.
