I’m trying to access the terminal but it’s asking for a password when I type the username as root

Make sure you've put lowercase r and not capital R for root

Still asking for password I’ve also tried leaving password as blank still not working

press green button on remote and select openwebif and make sure engable http authentication is set to no, and press green button to save, now reload openwebif on computer and you shouldn't be prompted to log in

It’s set to no and still asking for password on terminal

Try different Web browser or use mobile telnet or mobile ssh on phone you are typing root with no capitals

oh on terminal, if you just entered root as login it shouldn't be asking for password unless you have set one

Still same, I’m getting box flashed again.

I’ve not set a password. Hopefully it works fine after flashing

oh on terminal, if you just entered root as login it shouldn't be asking for password unless you have set one
