Full name of the file and how you are trying to install it would help us to give you the correct method.

If trying to install xeev (XE) plugin via command line, you need to install the python3 version for openvix 6.
If using an earlier version of Vix, the python2 plugin will work.
You might be as well asking your IPTV provider for the script for both

What version of Vix are you using?
Image version, 5.2, 5.7, 6.2, 7.9 etc?
If it's very new, you are using the wrong command line
