Oscam doesn't work anymore

Ok guys I'm new to this forum, hopefully someone might be able to help.
I'm running openvix on a vu+ 4K satellite receiver. Oscam was working fine a couple of weeks ago with oscam latest from the plugin menu. I noticed a new one had been added oscam pcscd latest so downloaded that plugging and tried it and it worked
very well until the next day. Now oscam doesn't work at all. I've removed all softcams several times and added the one that was previously working but still doesn't work. I've input new config files into /etc/tuxbox/config that my supplier sent me to see
if that was the problem but still doesn't work. I've installed a new image from vix and tried that to see if that worked but it didn't. I've even installed a new image but didn't use save settings and added everything manually but still get the same message on the log screen.
I've run out of idea's now as to what could be stopping it from working. Any help would be appreciated. I've put on a couple of screenshots of my log but obviously removed my server details

Is it Sky HD your trying to open or just the SD stuff like BT ? If it is HD lines your trying to run the servers are blocking oscam connections if not ignore me.

Would need to see your configs if the above is not correct.
 
Bit confused also as i assume its foreign sat your on and not 28.2 and has your provider confirmed lines are active and clearing with that cam?
Lines are current and not out of date.
Not heard of Oscam been blocked.
 
Yes it's just the SD stuff like BT and Gold. I've got a motorised dish so usually watch stuff from 19.2e and 13e too as well as others. I'll get my config files so you can look.

In your two photos it clearly shows connection timed out. That is not a problem at your end but rather what you are trying to connect to.
 
I've checked my config files from 2019 and they only have group 1 on both. Worked fine up until a couple of weeks ago?

Your configs are basic but nothing wrong with them it should work your either been blocked or the server is not online.

Thanks for your reply. My satellite dealer said that everything looked fine at their end but I'll send them a message to check again

Also a possibility your not getting outside of your network try ping the server url from a windows pc
 
Ok, so I got my son who is a network engineer to have a look at what was stopping me from connecting to the server. It turned out that my public IP was being blocked by the server for some reason. I don't have a VPN but I needed to change my IP address to allow access. I checked with my ISP and all I needed to do was turn off the router and leave it for a minimum of 30 minutes.
Turned back on now and I've got a new IP and everything is working as it should be :grin:
