Oscam Question

Is is possible to set up oscam on the mac address of a box rather than using username/password ?

I've never heard of anyone doing it that way, can I ask why?

Well if you recall the old boxes Starview Boxes worked on the same principal, and by using a MAC address you can tie a sub to the box which makes it more secure.

before my time lol, but on enigma2 boxes the mac can be easily changed (Mac address not matching) so not sure how much more secure it would be
