I've been trying to update the software on my Kryptview A780 on and off for a few weeks now and tried various ploys including pulling plugs out of sockets for various lengths of time, turning modem off, turning Kryptview on and off at socket and generally ending up with the message "searching for update".This message then seemed to freeze on the screen.Today however I decided to have one last try and without doing anything significantly different I was greeted with the message "starting update" then "Flashing".After a new installation I can receive almost all the channels except the HD ones. I'm just so chuffed with this that I'd say to anyone in a similar situation NIL DESPERANDUM Keep on trying.
 
mine worked first time with a few bonus ones for good measure.. subs..! yeah right.. 14 months and still going strong..!
 
Hi everyone
My KV has been working OK, allright some channels down now and again but can always watch another and quite happy to enjoy what I have for "Free". Good on the Kryptview guys for at least trying to give us a service
