There's a couple of suggestions here:

Normally a sticky actuator and needs a good clean etc could also be a broken wire in the door loom shorting out etc.

Leaving car into garage we always wind down window as well used to doors closing and locking with keys in ignition 🙈
Broken wires yes very common.Most plastic locks are cheap and all one unit and not accessible as internal.
