Cable please help a newbie

Hi there guys, this may be a very stupid question. I have the zgemma star h1, I have connected sly to tuner a and it works fine, now the part I find confusing is tuner b. Can I connect my Aeriel lead to this to get vm? Really confused on how this whole vm thing works. If anyone could explain this to me in some way I would really appreciate it.

yes its rf in for vm and you need an rf male to f type female adapter and obviosuly a line for vm

So I have to subscribe to vm? I have broadband just not with virmin. I'm really confused as I thought zgemma was kind of an alternative so to speak?

You need a live vm feed coming into the property.
Whether it's vm broadband or just tv.
You cannot get vm any other way.

Sorry still don't understand guys, thanks for your help though. So far I have one of my sat leads into tuner a, this seems fine and have all sly channels working. Surely people don't have vm and sly at their home do they? Am I missing something? Apart from a brain cell lol. I have it connected to the internet aswell. Please help me

You need a live vm feed coming into the property to receive cable channels.
They are not available any other way.
You can use tuner a for the sat side(which you have done)but you will
Not be able to use the cable side unless you have a live vm feed.

Thanks, so I have to subscribe and pay monthly for that service? What happens if I already have broadband via sky?

You will have to cancel sky and take vm internet instead.
Do you have a vm feed into the property at all??

tuner a is for sat sky ,tuner b if for cable vm all you need is a vm active line to your house (i had vm years ago and they left the line active when they cut me off) to get vm to work you need a vm gift line,search ebay VM gift and you will see ,also look at this full guide to getting vm to work on the h1
