Hi this is my first post so please tasks it easy on me ,
I bought my f5 box five years ago and have never ever had any bother from it , was bought from a fantastic bloke and keeps in constant touch with me with the updates and all that etc.
However we can't come to a fix with my box since last Saturday it's been going scramble on mainly the channel called watch and the comedy centerals now it's happening On sky movies premier intact most of the channels now it will play for a minute and then scramble for 20 seconds start again and then do the same .
The gentleman walked through the bt hub last night knocking off the firewall and the smart set up , to no avail I don't want to kee pestering him cos I feel a fool so I thought I'd just drop a line on here and see if anyothet s have the same problem or if it's just me ? I updated the Channels about two weeks ago so no idea what to do now

A quick solution for you would be connect a modern box
i.e Openbox V8s virtually same setup similar menus etc to what you have (can you ask
your bloke to try a spare box if he can use your same C/N line then you would know for sure if it's-
Your box or it's past it's sell by date? Dish? 5years you've done well mate or a line/server-
fault, if you do get a new openbox you just update it through your Network settings no
messing with a USB Channel update etc.
pm me -will talk you through it if you need a new box etc.

Just had a wee chuckle to myself reading this post. Must admit 5 years on a F5s is a bloody long time. I started off with the same box in August 2015 & since then I've had a openbox V6s, V8s, Zgemma S, Zgemma HS & yesterday I set up the latest edition for my other room the Zgemma HS2. Six boxes in 15 months :/
A vet said to me on this forum once, buy a Zgemma & I'll promise you, you will never go back to openbox...... & he was right

Yes I'd say I've had my box since end of 2013 I've never had any bother like this and it's only certain channels ,
I'm not very techinacally minded which is why I bought the box of a salesman rather than do all the hard work myself so your responses have left me completely bamboozled to say the east with the technical talk lol .
Do we think that my boxes are just outdated ? Why would this lead to the calhannels scrambling themselves inthoughtbthisbwas just due to a bad internet provid r but I'm getting 51mbs a sec

You do not say how the internet gets to the box if it is wi fi it might well be that. if it is a home plug try another socket ( try not to put in extension socket) or reset it. Try changing DNS on router or box if you can.
 
Thank you for your response the internet goes in to the back of the box via Ethernet cable , i appreciate all your suggestions but there all a bit over my head I am a pure novice the person who I I bought Ought my box off lives over 40 miles away however is brilliant with me but it's to far for him to even just have a butchers that's why I ask all of you
 
Hi guys sorry to butt in on this post but unsure how to make my own yet(I know proper newbie) but does anybody know if there is any way of uploading channels to watch the 3pm kick offs at all.

You cannot do that just by uploading a channel list etc
you need a subscription to IPTV etc to watch 3pm kick off
look through the Forums to the above for info.

sky sports roi for 3pm kick off every Saturday, no need for iptv if your happy with that
