Please help me with VM

Hi all i use a pc running ubuntu server with tvheadend, oscam and a dual dvb-c tuner and a dvb-s2 tuner with a motorised dish. Everything has been working brilliantly until about a week ago when VM just would not clear channels, all my satellite channels still work but VM none are working.

Example of the fault
Oscam

To me it looks like oscam is working, but tvheadend cant descramble with the error "invalid start code"

i have ticked
Drop CWs with wrong checksum:
Skip CWs checksum test:
But still have the same problem. Can anybody tell me what has changed on the VM end, or how to fix this correctly please?

I am sure more experienced people will come along but if your system was working and you have done what is explained about checking the two boxes then it maybe it's not a fault you have but more your server has not done what they need to do.

Would anybody be able / willing to tell me what my server needs to do so i can relay the info on, that is something i am really struggling to find?

Unfortunately mate if your provider hasn't fixed the VM problem at his end yet chances are he doesn't know what to do. Your best bet is to request a trial line in the request section and see if that works. Your provider is gonna be a reseller.

Unfortunately for me i am only about a month into a 2 year sub, and would really rather avoid having a second sub. I am still not convinced it is a problem at my providers end as oscam logs says ecm found, i think the problem lies with my tvheadend settings, i just have no idea what has changed with VM so have no idea what to change in tvheadend, hopefully somebody will give me clue soon, the kids are missing cartoons with english adverts lol.

It will be at the servers end and in no way is anyone going to tell you to tell them how to fix it   Ask for refund and look for another working provider :laughing: Job done

all VM channels gone off?
Have you read this thread it may help
Thank you, i have read the first few pages and the last, will read a bit more later on.

it looks like you could be right, but im still not convinced, i would really rather not become a pain in my providers rear end, they have been brilliant with me so far.

After a month you are saying that and have no service (n) (n) Is the provider off this forum ??

its well over a month maybe over 2 if i count the trails they gave me, and i am not the only 1 suffering, seems my problem started around the same time as everybody elses. All my satellite channels are still working its just VM thats not playing, and the only thing i have to go on is the invalid start code error coming from tvheadend, to me that says the keys include a time and the time is incorrect, maybe it just needs a delay or a tvheadend descramble mod, i don't know though, im still pretty new to the whole CS thing.

No i don't think my provider is on here.

Why do you not just look for another provider ??? Its not rocket science is it for goodness sake.. Its not down to you to fix it for them. If you could do that you would be a supplier :LOL:

i have tried a few test lines from other providers when i first noticed VM wasn't working and had the same problem with those, i will give them another try tonight, maybe something has changed by now.

So have you managed to get those working at all ??
