Poor sub or firestick causing playback issues?

Hi chaps, I'm running a 2nd gen firestick hardwired to Ethernet on 40mbps broadband and using perfect player or smart IPTV to stream. I've tried many different subs which all promise perfection however as always there are playback issues.

Now I understand I'm saving hundreds by using IPTV and that the service, of course, will never be perfect but I wanted to try and get the best out of my setup. So to narrow down if it's my setup or my subscription, should my setup be enough to run any IPTV without issues? I suffer from buffering and looping, meaning the stream will buffer for approx 5 seconds then get stuck on a loop until I either change Channel or restart.

I follow normal maintenance such as restart all/reboot router/change router Channel and it never solves anything. For example on Saturdays Groves v Eubank fight the stream was fine during the undercard but unwatchable during the main event. My internet ping never dropped and i reset the router 3 times but nothing helped.

So what would you guys suggest? Shite sub/poor setup/just the nature of IPTV?

Delete everything off the stick, and just put stb emu on it.
Turn off websafe/childsafe or whatever on your router.
If that dont work then probably shite sub.

One Note I paid for the fight saturday, and still could not watch it itv box office FAIL again.

I watched it via iptv at someone's place and the undercard played ok, soon as the long haired MC got up to introduce the main event, boom, every channel disappeared, had to watch it on Arena 3, Italian channel I think, crap picture streamed from some website and cast over to telly

Sounds like it was a common issue then, I'm wondering if an android box would play IPTV better than a firestick? Surely having a dedicated box with better specs would improve reliability?

I had a 254 but hated the GUI etc so changed to firestick for Perfect players better GUI

Get the 4K Fire TV. £70, plays HEVC and 4K movies on kodi and IPTV on perfect player flawlessly. That’s what I use. I have catchup with my IPTV sub too and this works perfectly on the 4K fire tv

Just read your initial post, I would think the problem was more with your provider. I too watched the fight, the only issue I had throughout was the picture would occasionally freeze for a few seconds but would return from where it stopped, so I didn't miss any of the action. This was through firestick 2 wireless ,maximum internet speed 36, that would have been reduced as I have ipvanish loaded on the stick which I was using.
My sub is loaded using STB EMULATOR, I also have Netflix and Showbox loaded and have never taken off any of the apps I don't use.
Hope this helps as I felt you was thinking it was a firestick problem.

Thanks for your message, yes my main thought was that the firestick was the issue, I've purchased an Openbox VX now anyway which will be used to run my sub only and nothing else

Ironically I've just bought the openbox Vx which I'm using in the bedroom, still using the emulator set-up as I can then load the same Mac code and serial number from a firestick provider.
First impressions fairly similar to a mxq pro.
Good luck!
