Hi, is it possible to get a 12v jack to usb to pwer the boxes? I know usually usb is 5v

looks like he is trying to replace the power adapter with a cable that's the power jack on one end and usb on the other, I think that could be quite dangerous and could be a fire hazard, if the original power adapters broke im sure you could find a matching replacement easily enough

i'm trying to space save, so i don't have to use a 3 pin socket.

You must use an original psu or you risk bricking your box or even killing it. You could always purchase a multi tower from e-bay or somewhere else but ensure you don't do what we have all done before---don't overload. Reaper.
