problem adding c line to zgemma star s2

Hiya guys, is there any way of checking that the actual line works and I've not been had please?
I've set up a couple of these before for friends (but the first Star S1) and not had any problem at all. Now I come to do my own and guess what??
I've installed the Whoosh build for it and all the normal channels work fine, so i create a .cfg file with the c line and add it into ETC. However everywhere I've looked it says that there is already a Cccam.cfg in ETC and to edit this, on mine this isn't in there. There's a Cccam_2.3.0 but that is to do with the SoftCam. So I've dragged my home made Cccam.cfg into here and rebooted the box but still nothing. I've also gone into the Softcam settings and changed Select Cam 1 to Cccam2.3.0 and refreshed but nothing. I've even tried mgcamd_1.38r1 and nothing. Ive tried adding the c line into USR and KEYS but no good. So I've ran out of ideas now, any help greatly appreciated.
My line reads like this: C: *********.us ***00 d*********e dave5*5*8

I had a nightmare adding my c line to this box. Worked on it for hours, gave up and got an n nline. Worked straightaway. Was so annoyed I wasted so much time. Learned pretty much that this box and build much prefer an n line for some reason!

I then tested my c line after on an open box and the line was working perfectly, just incase anyone suggests that may have been the issue!

Thanks for your reply, I have just ordered an N line to try, how did you add yours please? Also do you have to change the softcam settings?
Thanks again for your reply

Have you put a capital double CC at the start of your CCcam.cfg!

Thats the way mine is and works fine!

I've resolved it thank you, I put it onto a usb in the front of the box and then pressed the green button for the usb Cam importer and it found it and worked. Thanks for all your help!
