Problem Flashing VIX on Xtrend 9500

I think I may have downloaded one too many skins lol, after a GUI reboot I am stuck in a loop on the VIX screen and it doesn't matter if I hard reset it still loops

I have a Kingston DT SE9 8GB USB flash stick formatted to fat32 (quick format) and loaded with the most recent version of the VIX image for my box (the 'et9x00' folder)
I insert the Kingston, switch on the Xtrend and see a message telling me an image has been detected, press OK / Cancell
So I hit the OK button on the front of the box (behind panel) and nothing.........

it continues to boot as usual and loop


Does anyone know what I am doing wrong please?

Is a old usb or a new one If old 1 Try low level format using a program called HDD guru then full windows (not quick ) then try

Its a fairly new USB

Followed your instructions anyway and its still loops

Any more ideas?

this is now fixed

FTP to box even tho' it was in a boot loop
delete skin folders in /usr/share/enigma2

box reverts back to original skin and boots


thought I would post incase it helps anyone else out
