problems - sly or router or provider

Been having a issues with IPTV after upgrading from sly fibre to fibre max or could be coincidence.
All epg are available but no pictures when selecting channel either black screen or iPabtv screen logo.
Reflashed several times using different methods.
IPTVplayer works = must be an internet connection for it to work
Changed new router back to older model rather than new slyhub.........still the same result.
is it router settings / vpn required ?? Already disabled sly shield

Have you tried other providers to see if tge issue persists?

Could be that when you changed over to fibre max, they enabled the sky shield again...

Do the following to check and turn off if required:

Although we don’t recommend it, you can switch Sky Broadband Shield off at any time.

However, we recommend changing the setting to age rating 18, which allows you access to sites suitable for adults while still being protected from malware-infected or phishing websites.

1. Sign in to broadbandshield.sky.com with your Sky iD. If you’ve forgotten yours, you can retrieve your details or reset your password.
   
2. Scroll down the page and select Switch off.

When you switch Sky Broadband Shield off, it may take around 15 minutes to be able view previously blocked websites.
