Problems With PS3 Firmware Update 3.00

Apparently some users have experienced problems with their consoles after updating to v. 3.00. Sony is aware of this and it has been discussed in their blogs.

I will be holding off until $ony gets this issue properly addressed before downloading and installing the latest update.

This isn't the first time that the PS3 official update caused problems. They usually issue a fix fairly quickly.

Waiting it out is a good plan.
