my proline 700 recorder when searching for chanels thro my freeview box cannot find any chanels

I remember from a long time ago the issue with something similar,not the same as your recorder was the tuner needed to be -t and not a -c,might be the same problem to get the freeview channels

Did sinnos post above not answer ur question? I used to have s proline and had to set it to the cable tv then choose channel from there. If u got freeview think maybe u set it to tv then pick up from there. Have u got the user manuel for the recorder?
If its just a dvd recorder it probably cant pick up each tv channel will just pick up the dvb channel that u then change from there
