Purchasing IPTV off Auction site

Hi
wondered what anyone's views were on purchasing a 12 month sub for IPTV from the famous auction site or would I be throwing money away? Not many have the option to trial first and they seem very cheap.
I would be grateful for any advise on this.

P.S. I am not asking for a recommendation for a sub.

Depends, most people would generally say stay away from them, but it all depends on the cost. Some people have bought them and they have lasted for months, others days or weeks. It all comes down to your attitude to risk.

Think of it this way, the average sub costs around £10 a month and you can get a free trial normally. Would you risk 2 or 3 times that amount just to find out the service is no good or doesn't last long?

Why not just try tests from here and try and find a provider that suits you, take a months sub and if your happy, keep it going, stick with one month at a time and down the line if you are still happy with it, you could always up it to 3 or 6 months, but beware finding the good providers for iptv is the hard part.

Most people who buy from a 'famous auction site' don't investigate the subject in the depth, those who join this forum do. To that extent even when you do your homework and take tests off this site you can still come unstuck, but you have shortened the odds in your favour. The alternative is in my opinion less likely to be successfull but you may be lucky.

i personally do my own research yes they are cheap on the bay i think there are more bad suppliers than good. You pay your money and take your chances. I bought a cheap sub when i first started out it worked fine during the week but it was unwatchable over the weekend.

Thanks for all your advise I will do more research and keep to this site for ideas. I suppose i,m like a lot of other people in that I can’t wait to get started, just don’t want a bad taste in my mouth from any dodgy experiences.

Is it easy to ask for a test and cancel if its not to your liking?

You will be offered a 24 hour test by most suppliers, you don't need to extend if you don't wish.
try many, find one you like, pay for a month , if it is still all that you though, you can think of a longer period.

@siilver has a thread about his experiences, he might pop in and let you know how he got on.

Thanks gents. I keep seeing perfect player android app being mentioned. Is that an app that’s well regarded?

yea bought some cheap £5 for a year iptv

started of with 3437 streams and now im upto 4409 streams

the vod works great on the zgemma but the live can be hit or miss, but it has got better thats for sure
had 20 min stream there with out any problems
at the start live was hit or miss

I think most people have had bad subs but you will find a good supplier if you keep looking. It's the nature of the beast with IPTV. My current supplier just found out that 3 people on his site were re streaming their sub to loads of their own customers and he has now shut them down so there are quite a few people that have just lost their money.
There are some unscrupulous people out there.

Ask @dt99 about how difficult it can be to find a decent sub. The first one i found was excellent then they got closed down. It took me ages after that to find a decent sub.

Absolutely, if you have got several hours to spare, I can tell you all about the problems I had finding a decent sub. No-one wants to hear this story again and I certainly don't want to re-live it again.
