So I just built my first PC. It was alot of fun and runs anything I throw at it even Crysis 3 Beta so I want to know what you guys think. I built this PC as a gaming rig and I record for youtube so I wanted something that will run and record anything.

The Total price of the whole rig is kind of hard to determin mainly because I bought alot of unneccesary stuff like memory foam mouse and keyboard pad a gaming mouse and keyboard logitech speakers and a nice HD webcam. If I where to estimate for everything inside the case and nothing more It was arround $1,100-1,200

Alright so I went with this case: http: //microcenter .com/product/383015/Commander_MS-I_Epic_ATX_Gaming_Mid_Tower
Mainly because I like the look of it, it fit everything I got and it was a reasonable price.

with it I got 4 120mm MassCool red led fans.

I got a 750W powersupply kinda more than I need but makes it easier to upgrade in the future.
For a hard drive I went with a 2 TB Baracuda HDD The reason I went with a 2 TB is because I often times record alot of game footage and end up with large files.

I got 16 GB ram it is the Vengeance series and the timings are 10-10-10-27 1600MHz. I got 2 * GB sticks instead of 4 so if needed I can upgrade.

for a processor I went with an AMD 3.5 GHz 8 core processor it is unlocked so I can overclock a bit if needed in the future.

the motherboard I got is here: http: //microcenter .com/product/366425/GA-990FXA-UD3_Socket_AM3_990FX_ATX_AMD_Motherboard
It has surround sound ports and USB 3.0

for the graphics card I got an AMD Radeon HD 7950 3072MB it has 2 HDMI-mini ports a DVI and an HDMI.
if your interested in seeing it its right here: http: //microcenter. com/product/384118/GV-R795WF3-3GD_AMD_Radeon_HD_7950_3072MB_GDDR5_PCIe_30_x16_Video_Card

lastley for the disk drive I went with a simple Asus 24X DVDRW Sata writer.

I did not include ports to plug in SD cards because I dont own a cammera but iff I do I left room in the case to install one.
some last bit of information Im running this all on two 24 in 1920x1080 monitors.

So that is my setup please rate How you see fit and if you can suggest any upgrades please let me know. Also if there is any information you want to know that I did not include feel free to ask.

Sounds really good, and I really do like that case, I think I might get one for my next build.
That CPU and GPU should kick some gaming ass.

One thing I would recommend is getting an SSD, It really does make all the difference with just about everything from boot and load times to transferring files and installing programs. Definitely a wise way to go.

Keep on building dude, Baz
