Recommendations for a box to get feature like sly+

I have f5s but thinking of getting another box but with record feature. Dual LNB in. What would people recommend if any

You can record in the box you have.

You could by another and put it in another room, record on one and watch the other.
Then swap the HDD between boxes as you need it.

Same as a twin tuner but you have a box in each room.
If you get a server who supplies multiroom you pay for one line and can run two boxes.

Or,

Buy a twin tuner box, something like a Vu+ Solo 2 or Vu+ Duo, you get extra bells and whistles going down this route
but it is more expensive. This would probably be closer to Sky +

all dual feeds, record one watch one with a good epg called crossepg

each box a min £250

The vu range seems to be highly respected throughout this industry, its where my money will be going later in the year. I know £250 is a lot but just work out what your saving per year by not having a full sky package.

I got an f5 box a couple of month ago and it was great to start with but now I've started getting a bit of knowledge of how all this works I would like to upgrade my box to something where I can record 2 channels like sky+

Is the VU+ the best one to get or are there better boxes. I don't mind paying 250 - 300 quid for a box
