Recording multiple channels - help required

Hi guys,

I have a Venton unibox running vix image and have my virgin media cable hooked up to tuner 1.

Problem is I can only record the same channel that I'm currently tuned to. If I try to record a different channel it will change the channel I'm currently watching onto that channel in order to record.

Is this right? Is there no way to record a different channel than you are viewing like a normal Virgin box?

You have to have a twin tuner, with 2 cables from the same satellite or by splitting your vm cable into 2 separate feeds, 1 cable for tuner 1 and 1 cable for tuner 2, Just looking at your box online and seems you only have 1 sat and 1 cable input, the recording feature you are looking for wont work

Thanks for the reply, figured that might be the case. I believe the box I have is a twin cable tuner, so will have to look into splitting the Virgin cable.
