Hi, I just upgraded to OpenATV 6.3 and it works correctly now. Problem solved.

Did you have to do a complete re-flash? Or can you do just an update? I have the fast-forward problem as well

Jonnyb72, very likely a setting. Everyone has different set ups. I have 2 connections for my iptv. I used Jedi Maker Extreme to add the iptv m3u. I had exactly the same issue you described. The stream type was set to IPTV(4097) in Jedi Maker. I changed that to DVB(1) and it works now. I think Xtream Editor has a similar setting.

I have the same issue, recording from 28.2 freeview I can pause fast forward and rewind.
When I record from IPTV it records fine but when I play back I cant fast forward and when I pause the recording it goes back to the beginning, very odd

I use open atv 6.2 because 6.3 I had issues with recording

I did online flash and restored my settings, it took 10 mins and now works perfectly and I think the box runs alot quicker (I'm my opinion)
Tested IPTV recording+playback and works 100% with no issues.

Tried to do that by only showing open atv 6.2 not 6.4

Possibly it cant because your missing 6.3

The only other thing you can do is goto the openatv website and download 6.3 onto a usb stick and install it on you box the do an online upgrade to 6.4
