Can we ask why you would want to record to vcr when the genuine boxes have hard hards drives in them. I don't think you can use 3rd party boxes at them moment for anything other than recording channels 1-5.
You cannot record virgin as its encrypted now , and how many boxes have scart now.
Some vcrs had an in and out to allow recording from a sat box years ago before usb and hdd.
